How about a potluck picnic on the Pont des Arts after the Canada Day festivities at the Canadian Embassy (http://canadian.meetu... )?

Aurélia (our fabulous assistant organizer: http://canadian.meetu... ) will be hosting this meetup. She'll be taping a few Canadian flags to the ground to help you locate her on this famous footbridge!

Closest metro station is Pont Neuf (line 7).
