Hey guys,

My dad just filed my Canadian tax return and it says that I need to pay something like $5,000. I was working in the US for the entire year and filed a 1040NR (non-resident) tax return in the US (because I arrived in the US part way through 2006 and thus still qualify as a non-resident). This just seems wrong to me. I didn't have any Canadian income so why am I paying so much to the Canadian government? If somebody has any advice, I'd really appreciate it.
