Hi Guys,

I hope you all had a great summer and were able to enjoy some hot weather be it here, back in Canada or somewhere very sunny! Now that summer has gone we welcome fall and with autumn comes the German tradition of Oktoberfest!

Back by popular demand, we are heading to the Bavarian Beer House located close to Old Street Station to celebrate Oktoberfest on its 2009 closing weekend!

"Bavarian Beerhouse is a unique combination of a Pub, a Restaurant and Entertainment. The UK's only authentic German/Bavarian Restaurant offers a wide selection of German beers, hearty Bavarian food and unique entertainment in a rustic beer-cellar environment. Established in December 2005, the Restaurant/Bar has quickly become popular with guests who enjoy the genuine beer-hall ambiance and table service provided by charming waitresses in traditional Bavarian "Dirndl" dresses."

I have made a reservation for 30 people initially, we shall be in the front area close to the entrance and bar. Please get back to me as soon as you can confirm as this is a very busy time of year for them. The best email address for me is davem@davemathews.ca

There will be live entertainment and it is shaping up to be a great evening!

Get your Zest to Oktoberfest! HOORAY!

We will then settle at Bankside Pier (near the Tate) at 18:00 and wander over to the Anchor Pub –which sports a fantastic patio!!

Tickets are a mere £12! And can be purchased online at the following link:
